Buddies Bar

Painting #9, Day 5, morning, watercolour 12"x16"

Upon arriving in the hotel, I saw this beautiful building and was so excited to paint it. I waited for 4 days and finally I get the chance.  It is a bar across the hotel courtyard where i set up my easel. I can only see the upper half the lower half of the paintings was all made up. The owner of Buddies came to see me halfway my painting and offered to buy this painting.  It was not my intention to sell it but just to get rid of him pestering me while i was trying to paint, I said i was going to come to his bar later with my painting.  As you've guessed I didn't and brought this back home to Scotland to show to my family and friends.
